Title: Retrieving my old user name

So, yeah. Its been a while since I last posted here at HLP and my old user name was spaceman spiff. (I did the VA for alpha 4 in derelict)I was wondering if there was any way to get my old name back. I still do own it, i just don't know what my old password was and i never reactivated it when the forums changed over some time ago. Yes i know you admins have the power.. sorry the most equality here at hlp and i'm sure you could all verify that spaceman spiff and spaceman spiff 2 are the same person (hell, i wouldn't be asking for this if it wasn't.) unless of course, someone else is using that name already, which in that case, nevermind all of this. and I'm rambling. so please help?

Hmmmmmm. VB has a nifty Merge Users option for just this occurrence. I'll be buggered if I can find a similar option in SMF.

Merge is better. It automatically removes the alt-nick. Which is why I didn't want to do anything half-assed unless I knew that half-assed was the only option. :D

so um... what's the deal then? and yeah, resetting the password won't work because i have a new email. unless it can be sent to my new one and not the one being used in my SS account. and why is karajorma banned?

And kara was banned for arguing with foreigners.

This is pretty much why he was banned, woutersmits doesn't understand English, so we can't help him, so he kept reporting kara.

But there is a slim chance now. If our assumptions are correct and he is Dutch, -Josha- shall have the power to help him. Hopefully.
