Title: problem with sound

well,i  downloaded the newest (how i understand) beta version 3.4beta, install was succesfull,but the problem is i have no sound! then i started the game i have got a message " openAl1.1  or newer is requested for proper operation. Please upgrade  your openAl drivers,witch are awailable at http://www.openal.org/downloads.html ,and trying  the game again"  well a download all the upgreids from this page,but  it does have no  effect,so what a f*sk is goin on? please help,because i want to play this game seriously!!
P.S. sory for pure english,whis no my native  :)
p.s.s.i'm using  windows  xp,amd sepmron 2800+,1gb ram,gforce6600 ( pc  is old,but i've think it's enough for this game)

That sounds perfect. Have you configured the launcher correctly? Also your name makes me smile :) reminds me of boobies.

Sounds like you might have some rogue openal file somewhere.  Check this thread:  http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,52449.0.html
