Ok, just for the sake of not creating tons of threads, i made this. i don't have much time, so i can only ask one right now.

1. is there any way to convert mp3s to ogg format?

Goldwave, you might need to install the lame3 audio codec.

Goldwave... isn't that the one that Volition suggested way back when to use for Vasudan voice recording.

WinAudacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/). Import audio file(s), export to ogg. Voila.
