Or do we have a heck of a lot of Forums? We'll be pushing more than 35, when we get all the new hosted staff and their internal forums online.
And a heck of a lot of posts? 80k+? Where did they come from?

Just be careful not to lose control. Having too many hosted projects can be a problem - try to make sure that any new projects that apply for hosting are really worth it, and that projects that are already hosted have good and frequently updated content. It's easy for things to get messy when they get too big - maybe the creation of an action policy and methodology for the site could help out...

We're keeping an eye on things, don't worry - even if things have been quiet on a project for some time one of us is keeping tabs on it and will take steps to find out if updates will occur and so on. So far updates have occured in some form on all the hosted sites frequently enough that we haven't had to worry about removing hosting.

I am not saying I am superman but I can take on alot of work so if any projects are about to fail, I think I might be able to help them a little :) (so the hosted space is not wasted :D)

I was thinking of just that. We have 17 hosted projects ATM, and more incoming; so I was thinking, get every hosted project to have a staffer post a status update once a fortnight... to get into a routine. That way we could make sure everyone is active and junk. I'll get Cobalt to set up a script... man, that guy is cool. :D

Maybe have a fixed limit at 20 hosted projects max?

Hrmm... well, thing is, FSW is doing Something™, so they can't take any hosted projects; and there are new projects coming all the time. As you can see here (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,5245.0.html), getting hosted really bolsters community relations and in the end, everyone can help everyone out: we all win. :D
So, I don't want to put a limit. I quite like this status update idea, anyway. :)
