No screenshot this time, but I'm sure people saw the EMP-adv pic in the pharos thread.

Anyways, I tried out the glowpoint-exhaust thing being talked about in the media vp thread, turn out any good? (Though I wish i could have had twin trails for the EMP-Adv)

Anyways, if anyone finds any problems I can fix them, otherwise everything seems to check out....

Great work, but it looks like the thruster glowpoints have the wrong texture.  Also I think the center of the EMP Adv. is in the wrong place.

The C_Baby.pof has an odd issue in F3 when looking at the rear, you can see the inside of the front.

EMP2 looks great in the tech room, but the regular has it's "nose" disjointed from the rest of the model. Same with the thrusters. As blowfish observed, the center seems off, or at least the center body section is being rotated. It's selection icon in the loadout's screen is off center.

The Piranha icon is spot on, but it's Tech room rotation is centered on the nose.

The issue with the cluster baby is due to it being so small, so the camera gets close and the near clipping plane pkes through it. It shouldn't be an issue outside the lab.

I forgot to look into rotation centres, knew i was missing somthing, that's why I asked for feedback. I'l have it fixed.


And blowfish, what do you mean by "wrong texture" for the glowpoints?

All the mediavp missiles use a certain effect for their thruster glowpoint, and you are using a different one (I think its yellow_glow).  It should be missile_flare.

EDIT: Though if I'm not mistaken, they also use a thruster point (in addition to the glowpoint).  Just extract one of them and look at it in PCS2 to see how things are set up.

Ah, okay.

I'm finishing these things up now then, it seems they were also lacking LODs, that will be fixed too.

In addition, i'm going over my older missile models, and making them rotate around their center (center of gravity must be 0:0:0) as well as adding glowpoints where applicable...
