Title: How to get hold of Freespace sound files
Post by: Clawandfang on March 14, 2008, 05:20:15 pm
What is the best way to get hold of the sound-clips from Freespace? For example where the command briefings are read out. It's just for an idea I had to edit some stuff together.

Can you please be more specific?

Change volume options?

Extract them using VPview or some other program that can deal with .vp files. The voices are in stu_fs2.vp.

I hate to mention the rival site, but Sector Games has a vast selection of the sound files from FS1 in their media section.  It's where I got mine from.

Sector Game wins HLP... Until StRiD@R showed up.

I doubt that SectorGame or Game-Warden is considered a rival to HLP. More like a different friend's house to hang out at. :)

I thought GW and HLP were "sister" sites now?  :D

Sector is like that crazy cousin who visits, and still waiting for the DNA results on Freespacemods...

[Just kidding people!]
