We've got new hope! ;7 I heard that Interplay is hiring more workers and staff :)

Does that mean that they managed to bastardize whoreout sell enough of their IP rights to get out of debt?

And could that big blue electric globe behind the pyramid-head-like guy be related to descent?

Yes, it's the shield orb from the Descent boxes. The guy is Kurt from the MDK series.

This could get interesting, but it may be quite some time before we see anything coming of it.

Not good. If they're back from the dead, chances are that they have little money, little talent and little time to get something out the door, which doesn't bode well for game quality.

The real problem is the string of ruined IPs that they're going to leave.
