If this is going to be the kind of useless topics that should say you, on what type of mission you should focus for a campaign, then this is a useless topic.

...you should include the most different types possible...

This is not for a campaign i was just wondering what type of missions people like most....

I know i forgot to add some types to the poll it's kinda late, but i can't edit the pole anymore dunno why....but if it's not your kind of mission is not on the list then just post them.

Hehe...I really like these Secret Ops missions....you alone in the dark surrounded by 12343215 Shivans ...within a Pegasus cockpit...

In what's probably an odd combination, I like both the Stealth missions and heavy bombing - at either end of the spectrum :).

BTW, this :bump:  is excellent.

Escort/Defense are pretty much the same thing. Chasing down bombers, shooting down bombs. Generally being totally suicidal...

I like missions where there's only Alpha wing and your in hostile territory. Hundreds of fighters scream towards you from the destroyers that are sweeping space with their beams. Your wingmen go down with seconds and you're left to fend for yourself, skimming destroyer hulls, evading fighters and scanning subsystems until your ordered to high tail it to the node.

I just replayed FS1 :D.

Attack missions where you really don't make all that much of a difference and you just get to watch the capital ships duke it out...like hmmmm Slaying Ravana!:D Sure how about we fire a bomb or two here? Good idea! Or Surrender Belisarius (easiest mission ever)...the Psamtik comes in and blasts the corvette! I know I know I'm incredibly lazy but.....well......

o yea....stealth missions are lots of fun too :nod:

I like the patrol missions ,

Just you and a few wing men, See whats out there, get jumped & hold out until the big guns arrive.

Cause sometimes you read halfway through the thread before you realise it's old.

Sometimes you think that someone who was away like Steak is back.

Sometimes it restarts old fights that had been dead for a year.

Most annoyingly of all though it means that everyone starts voting and the topic repeatedly gets bumped for the next few days.

If someone is interested in an old poll make a new topic about it and link to the old one.
