Title: COD4 on PS3

Does anyone else play Call Of Duty 4 on the PS3, I love that game.

Meh.  Played the PC version.  Massively overrated.  The cutscenes and levels which were only there for style were kind of cool, but the rest of the actual game consisted of a spawn frenzy.  Multiplayer was totally destroyed by maps designed for X360, low population servers.

Loved COD4, multiplayer, not so much. I don't like living for only twenty seconds to get killed by some 203-toting kid. Every match devolves into people having 2 to one ratios because they carry the 203, kill two people with the grenades, then die themselves.

The objective based modes are much more satisfying than straight up deathmatch.

Everyone i know who has COD4 loves it. Iv never seen anygameplay but all the reviews iv heard is good. If its better then COD3 its good with me.

Same here. COD4 had a very good single player, I'd say even better than the first COD. But, on the multiplayer, it is so annoying I rarely play. When I first heard of the shoot through walls feature, I thought sweet. Now I loath it. Nothing like being sprayed with a saw through two/three walls from a guy camping spawn. And don't get me talking about the beauty of claymores.

It's one thing to give veteran players minor bonuses or cooler-LOOKING stuff, but I'm getting annihilated by people with the best guns, the best perks, triple the grenades I have, etc.  For people who don't get to play a whole lot, this is a really annoying "feature".  Seriously, I can just walk down a corridor to find a Gold Desert Eagle lying there, swap my AK47 for it, and still get more kills.

Well, I like COD4 because, its fun, and through my stereo it sounds effin awesome.

My faverate load-out is.

"M14 & Scope, (Red-Tiger Cammo)". Coupled with the "Barret 50 cal", x2 Smoke, RPG, and Stopping Power (or deep impact, cant remember which one you can have with the 2 wepons add on.) :yes:
