Hey, me again,
Is there any way to get FreeSpace Alpha ( or whatever it's called ) - FreeSpace1 pre-release version. I would like to try it if it's possible, unless noone has it anymore.
-
Never heard of it! Are you sure about the naming??

Check on Wiki, alphaone...

No, I think he means the alpha version of FS1, but I don't think that it was ever released, apart from some screenshots and the trailer.
-
I read that it was released to people for testing, before FreeSpace1 was released?

Please note that the first Alpha version handed out to (p)reviewers was not playable. Most of the first Alpha only consisted of pre-scripted action. The final pre-release version, however, was playable and was thus shipped out to reviewers/testers as a novel "Playable Demo". The "Playable Demo" moniker is still present on the load up screen of the officially released Descent: FreeSpace demo.

We'd be lucky if they ever get on the HLPBB.

You might be able to contact this guy for it.... he was a beta tester.

About an hour of trying various Google searches and that's all I could find.
