Setting up a special tour of the region for reporters, with everything staged and prepared. F'course, some monks crashed the party, giving the reporters a different view from the official government story.
Government official actually pushed reporters out of ht temple to stop them from talking to the monks. Way to monks! (altough something tells me they will mysteriously dissapear)

China rulez. Without China the British wouldn't have tea, fireworks, or pr0n. (well, the last bit maybe not, that's from Japan)

Which is why, of course, Japan>China :drevil:

Name one nation that isn't ;)
Me, I'm watching their space program with interest... it's great seeing it done with way less budget. Plus it makes the States nervous and consider stuff that they haven't been doing for years.
So I came up with a joke a few years ago that still gives me a chuckle -- so China plans to put a man on the moon soon. And the U.S. put a flag up there long ago. So China would be the 'Red Team' ...
"Red Team Has Our Flag" :p

The US space program has been stagnating for about two decades, hopefully that will put an end to it. Kind of reminds me of the old ball point pen in space joke.

I can't say I have much faith in China's cheap labor in a Space Program...
Yet it would be kinda funny seeing a bunch of people wondering why a shuttle with an inverted US flag, controlled by Pannisonic Hi-8 circuitry, and deployed by a Bowing vessel failed its initial mission.

Lulz, buy a clown suit and get paid for doing this.

C'mon...no one believes them..
They are doing a worse job than that Ali guy in Iraq.
What it is with all these governments - they can't hire people to come up with good lies and present them in a creative way to save their skins.

Oh China, China. How you disappoint me.

What they should really do, once they get up there, is just plant another US flag. But this one, like everything else in the world, will have a "Made in China" label on it.

Is there any history behind the US flag on the moon, or did somebody just go out to K-mart or something and buy one (and attach the little metal stiffies, so that later generations could argue hoaxes)?

I wouldn't be surprised if the spacesuits were from fabrics made in china.
