Remember Dark? The legendary modder? Yeah, well on his website (http://www.wild666.freeserve.co.uk/Mainpage.htm), I found some contact details. I am reluctant to contact him myself because 1) I do not have ICQ and 2) because I think people have already attempted and failed to contact him through using the contact details displayed on his old site.

We all know the treasures Dark has hidden away: Apollo Mark II, several pretty reskins (GTB Icarus, SD Orion), some old Vasudan cruiser, the GVB Maahes... The list goes on... And we all know we'd like to get our hands on those things rather than continue the pointless drooling over his stuff.

So, anyone willing to contact him on ICQ or something?

I haven't seen him logged into ICQ in quite a while.  Although I haven't been on ICQ in maybe 6 months...prior to that...he had all but disappeared and I kept really close connections with him for quite a while.

I've never heard of the fellow, being new, but I'm as interested as anyone in "treasures." I don't think I'd want to contact him though...

That's an old E-Mail and ICQ account.

Dark, as IceFire has said, all but disappeared several years ago. I believe he's pursuing a career in 3d modeling, IIRC.

I *think* that one was released.  It had allot of mesh problems as the Truespace to POF conversion wasn't good back then.  Not much could have been done about it.  Plus it was really low poly by necessity...Dark did amazing wonders with the textures.
