Im thinking of getting a new monitor and have narrowed my choices down to 2 that I like.
The Gateway HD2200 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824113011 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824113011)
The Dell SP2208WFP http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/products/Displays/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=320-6252 (http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/products/Displays/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=320-6252)
I'm leaning towards the Dell because of the quicker response time, integrated USB ports, and the 2 megapixel webcam is a bonus. Its also a little bit cheaper than the Gateway. What do you think? Any other suggestions?

Is this mainly going to be used for games? I would get the LG L227WT (also called L227WTG-PF) or HP W2207 over either of those, due to their glossy coating. The LG is a bit faster and has no input lag while the HP is more widely available.
These 22" ones are all 6-bit TN displays, but there aren't too many good options for 8-bit ones in that price range. One that may be worth checking out is the 24" Soyo on OfficeMax, which until recently used to have a nice MVA panel and was priced very low at $300. Now they're mixing cheaper TNs along with the MVAs though, so it's a bit of a gamble to get that monitor.

pricey but thats the size im looking for. by the time i have the cash, something better (or cheaper but equal) will most likely be available. i may also just get a tv with a dvi jack if the refresh rates are acceptable.
