Is it possible to keep AVI support in version 3.6.10? Some of the older campaigns don't have ogg files for the cutscene videos but still use AVI format. I noticed the new cutscene for the destruction of vasuda will only work in the AVI format and it would be nice to keep this capability.

Not going to happen. Avi support was a complete pain in the arse which broke with astounding regularity due to the completely bass ackward way it was added in the first place.
Given that Transcend is the only released campaign I can think of off the top of my head with a cutscene in it, it's far more sensible to fix and rerelease that then to continue flogging that particular dead horse.
Especially when you consider that the code only worked on Windows anyway.

The Vasuda cutscene has an OGG version
-
Every retail cutscene has an ogg version. The FS1 ones are rather hard to find.
(Wich reminds me... Have to redo that link page of mine)

Actually, Ransom has already updated the Transcend download in the release thread. It now contains the cutscene in ogg.
-
FS1 OGGs are probably on Sectorgame.

Lightning marshal has an AVI cutscene and the ogg vasuda cutscene doesn't work.
Where can I find a program to convert from AVI to ogg and where can I find some information on how to do it?
