What is your favourite ship in FSO/2/1? This can be any ship ever made, as long as someone has gotten it to work on FS0/1/2. It can be from a mod, a modeldump, anything, and you can call it your favourite for any reason. It can be any size.
And if you can, post a screenie.
I'm gonna have to say mine is probably the Raynor or Orion, because they look sweet, and kick ass, and really look like they're supposed to. (big and blocky; Terran)

oooh... tough choice for me... but, i'd have to say... ummmm... Trashmans GTBC Blade (it's in his FOWCOTS shippack) ... and... man, too much selection is a bad thing... :(

At this point I would have to say the Hyperion by --Steve-O-- is my favorite ship.

Have to be biased but the Orion is one of my favourites with myself prefering the Herc Mk1. I have to disagree with Gamma_Draconis, as I loved the Athena, until it's true weaknesses become apparent. No Prometheus and Interceptor limit it's role to either the role of heavy bomber escort where the Athena's disarm the target so that Medusa/Ursa's can use the heavy bombs, or a slow bomber interceptor.

Where you can find it: Nukemod.
It's a Shivan Super Juggernaut... an uber-powerful ship that is pretty well invincible to anything that isn't a super juggernaut. Its beams are powerful enough to kill a destroyer in a single shot.
What that picture doesn't show is the sheer size of that ship. Blue Planet estimates it at over five times the size of a Sathanas.
Anyway: my favorite ship... is really hard to choose due to the variety of amazing ships out there. :D
But, I'll go with the EAD Lindos:

You mean, like a spiky wall?
And that Lindos looks notably different than the one I have on hand... for one, the hangar on the side is gone, and it got symmetrical. :( But the HTL does make it look awesome.

My favourite FSO ship has to be the Rapier (Super Wing Commander variant) that I converted for my Convoy Intercept mission.

Got to be the Raynor, everything about is is perfect. Honourable mention to the similarly named Reyena and GTD Sirona though.

That just looks unshivan to me. The Shape of the arms and the predictable patterns on them, they look like they've been carved from stone and painted or something.

The Dante is a cool ship, albeit a little on the spikey side, and a little frail-looking (narrow parts near the middle look like they could snap).

Something looks wrong with the Ravana's upper front spikes. Is it the picture or the model?
I dunno... that one was taken while it was still buggy. (you can tell because the engine glows/trails are waaay behind the ravana itself.) other than that, i dont notice anything off, but perhaps thats just me... might be the lighting.

Il take the NTF Iceni . There was another variant of the Iceni in Derelict altough. I realli like that ship. I mean its like the way the Deimos should be armed with beam cannons. Having such ships as a standard in GTVA fleets would really be a good step forward towards balancing out the fleets against the shivans.
(I'm not referring here to the Juggs just standard fleets sort of ) !

The ship in Derelict was the GTFf Saphah (that particular one was the Cypher).

my fav ship would be the GVF SERAPIS, excellent maneuvrability, great for intercepting. Best fighter

Meh, what does overall speed matter when Vasudans have such long-firing afterburners. The Serapis is cool, though not my favourite.
My favourite ship would be . . . . the Lilith. More because of the idea behind its name than anything else. Though also because it can murder all kinds of things. Kaboom!

As I understand it, Lilith is the first wife of Adam in the Bible. She's a myth created to rectify the existence of two creation stories. In the second, more secularized "garden of eden" story, Eve is created from Adam and in a subservient role. But in the first creation story, man and woman are created together. Lilith however, doesn't want to be subservient so basically she says "screw you" and takes off and eventually becomes a demon or something like that.
So yeah, family of demons . . . but far more interesting than that. The FS wiki mentions the whole first wife thing, but it doesn't really explain it accurately imo (says Eve took the "aspect of Lilith" when she bit the apple?? thus Lilith is the first wife or somesuch, but . . . as I understand it that's not correct). Or at least not the version I like. Some people seem to be totally oblivious to the first creation story since popular media only mentions the garden of eden.
I've also read a book in my studies called Lilith by George MacDonald. It also, incidentally contained a character named Mara but she was more a good character than an evil one.
