Title: Video converter

Hey all, Anybody know where i can find a good video converter? What i want to do is convert a .mp4 file to .avi. I'm looking for a free one, since i'm trying to be a good little person by not using torrents. Besides, whenever i use uTorrent I get hacked and somebody steals my bandwidth. The file is 700 MB, if that matters.

I dont know of any personally, but I know that  Doom9 (http://www.doom9.org/) is a good place to look.

That's alright...I might find one there, but i was hoping for a more of a mainstream one?

Also, it needs to work for vista.

Go get SUPER. It's the last word in audio/visual conversion. It can convert anything to anything.

Assuming that you can find the download on their website. :p

Good as Super may be its UI is poor (Stick every button on the same window) and the website is actually worse!

well I managed to find my way round it so it can't be that bad.


but then I eventually managed to use TS so maybe I've a gift for dodgy UIs..... :doubt:
