I made a colossus with 86 turrets awhile back, but it was a ghost ship. So now that pcs2 is out I purged the bsp cache and it's fixed. I uploaded it on Freespacemods.net

What we really need is the HTL one (the oen that recently appeared) with 86 turrets :P (a few can remain unused like on the HTL Typhon)

Though an HTL Colossus calls for HTL turrets, and no one has made HTL turrets for the Colossus yet. Someone could use turrets off of other vessels though, like the Hecate's beam turrets, which are very similar to the Colly's.

oh right...wouldn't the Hecate's flak turrets work too (IIRC, all turrets started off looking the same - square with two sticks)

Nah, the Hecate's were differentish. The Orion's are closer to the Colossus's.

Except the Orion's are triple-barreled.

I really think that the Colossus needs a new set of turrets though. It is a joint endeavor, after all, so its turrets shouldn't all be from directly terran ships.

Problem - the only HTL Vasudan ship is the Typhon IIRC.

Well, I wasn't suggesting using some Terran Turrets and some Vasudan. I was suggesting making a completely new set of turrets that reflect the fact that it is a hybrid ship.

Give it some open barreled BSG turrets only deimos turret bases :yes2:

You forgot the Aten, Sobek, and Hatshepsut.

Th Hatshepsut isn't HTL.
Unless there's soem super secret HTL Hatshepsut project I don't know about :nervous:
