Is there anyway to place the Volition bravos in FRED?
-
Place a ship of any class. Open it up in the ship editor. On the ship class: field, scroll down to the end. Volition Bravos is there.
-
Although it escapes me as to why you would want to have VB's...(unless its for the lulz)
-
Oh, but there must be a thousand ways to use the Volition Bravos in a serious campaign. Take Derelict, for example. The VB in it wasn't for the lulz, but for the wtf.
-
It's in the BDHR mission. At least the original one. I don't know if it's in Cet's version or not.
-
I just want to set a self - destruct on it so I can see it blow up (it has so many freaking hit points you can't do it normally)
-
There's another way to do that. Give it 0% initial hull and shoot something at it. If that doesn't work, ram it (not sure how the supercap flag affects things).
-
Why bother. Self-destruct SEXP is so much cleaner.
-
I suppose ...
-
Can't you `k it a couple times?
-
You can `k it for hours on end and get nowhere
-
Or `-shift-alt-k it 10 times and kill ;)
-

Then its like...invul >.> It can't have much more health than the SSJ Dante, and I `k 'ed that thing to death in the second last BP mission for the lulz, it happened. I guess for something with > 1,000,000 HP, `-shift-alt-k works better than `k.
-
IIRC `k only does 100,000 damage.
-
which is why `-shift-alt-k works better than `k on something with > 1,000,000 HP... (because 100,000 is 1/10th, so they are equivalent)
-
Then its like...invul >.> It can't have much more health than the SSJ Dante...
Why not?
It can have as much HP as the table writer wanted it to have... and it has so much HP it might as well be invulnerable.
-
As in, by default, I know its a 1 with a whole lot of zeros.
-
I think it's 10,000,000,000
-
Speaking of the VB's, I once decided to be a jackass and literally spawned something like 30 VB's in the Mystery of the Trinity mission. Dragons never stood a chance. :D
(slowed my game down to a crawl though.)
-
did that once in vanilla. It was fun. It would be funny if after 15 minutes it DID jump out, and the debriefing said:
DAMMIT! You are a disgrace to the 102nd, you ****ING cheater! YOU SHOULD BE KILLED!!!
And, as soon as you click, the game promptly crashes/
