Title: Blue planet error
Post by: Nighthavoc on April 28, 2008, 07:44:42 am
Error: Can't open model file <none>
File:J:\src\cvs\fs2_open_3_6_9.final\code\Model\ModelRead.cpp
Line: 1902
[This filename points to the location of a file on the computer that built this executable]

Call stack:
------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------
this is what i get when the mission is finished loading but it crashes and that error shows up before i get to the briefing room
any ideas on how to fix it?

Blue Planet requires the mediavps. So

1. Make sure you have the mediavps installed.
2. Make sure you're playing in OpenGL.
3. If you do not have a mod.ini in your blueplanet folder that refers to the \mediavps\ folder, get one from the first post of this the Blue Planet release thread.

Edit: sorry, I was used to seeing all Blue Planet error reports on the Blue Planet release thread.

You should save to Freespace2/data/missions and then look for your mission in the Tech Room simulator under "Single Missions".
