Title: Campaigns which take action in Sol ?

Just how many are there, and where to get them?

So far I know ( unless I missed any ) [ might contain spoilers for the campaigns listed there  :) ] :

Sol: A History,
Inferno: Alliance,
Earth Defence Demo,
Terran-Vasudan War Project Demo,
Return to Sol,
Inferno R1 ( a bit ),
BluePlanet1 ( a bit ) and probably BP2
Solar Wars
Cardinal Spear
[My secret mod]

If there are any other good quality campaigns based in Sol, FreeSpace universe, can someone tell me where to get them ?

I advice to stay away from Solar Wars. Turn around and run away very fast with your eyes closed. Don't stop when you bump into trees/houses/cars/metal-poles. Just run. That campaign only works on retail FS2, has no backgrounds, and is just plain awful. The story can seem interesting, if it was told in a different way.
