Good day,
I'm the lead on a WC RTS Mod for the Sins of Solar Empire game.
As we've got a full team completed, we've just started the works on the mod codenamed "Initium".
I've pmed Tolwyn about this on WCCIC forums, and tried to reach him on ICQ but I failed to do so, as no response was given.

I've thought that perhaps we could lend ourselves a hand, we could exchange some workload between projects, especially modeling-wise.
We would just love to do models we are both missing. It would save us [ especially my team ] a lot of work, and we could fast-track the project and make it done a lot faster.

Any suggestions? This cooperation is very important for us.

We discussed this with each other, and we are okay with you using the models. We would ask you to extend the courtesy giving credit for the models to the models creators and to Saga.

Why don't you start there and show us what you come up with, and we can discuss any further interaction at that time? Best of luck with your project! We are always happy to see other people taking initiative and we look forward to see what you produce.

If that project succedes I have even more a reason to buy it....when its finaly released here.

Sure. When we will implement the first two models [ we will use placeholders from WC3D for now ] we will show You the screenshots.
In the meanwhile, I will present You the Theme for the WC:Initium. I will post it later today.
 
Also do not worry about not getting the credit! It's an obvious thing! [ In-game notice and information on the website which is currently in-dev ].

What I did miss in my previous post, is that we are currently producing our own custom models for the game, including custom spacestations and capship/frigates/fighters. So if Saga team will like to implement them in their game, as a part of a mutual agreement we will be honored to share. And as far as I'm assured by my model/texture team, they are of very high quality.

Thank You of agreeing, as this will speed up the process of completing the RTS Mod dramatically.

Whats more interesting will you also develop some new techtree and change the number of fighters you can have or even have more different squadrons. From the Demo I know you only got Fighters and Bomber. No Interceptors or Fighter-bomber squadron.

Currently the limitation on fighter types is hardcoded in the engine. However the Ironclad dev team has assured me that they are working on this matter. And yes the tech-tree will be redone.

Also if the engine will let us do that we will code several gamemodes, including the era-modes and turn on/off superweapons, as it was brought to my attention that many disliked the superweapons in WC series.

Sounds promessing.
I also think that we don't need any superweapons as the Behemoth but carriers like the Vesuvius. Well I wouldn't concider them superweapons. Maybe very expansive ships but not like the Behemoth or Templor bomb.

We are still polishing the theme song, as we don't want to release the MIDI sketch we are operating on currently ;)
As comes to other things... we are working on them in a steady fashion. No worries :)

I just wanted to tell you guys good luck with your project....the more WC we see ,the better  :)
