Title: Crash in shield protect mission
Post by: colecampbell666 on May 03, 2008, 10:55:03 am
When I'm doing the mission i which you have to protect tree shield prototypes, if I don't destroy the first wing before the second comes in, I get a CTD.

This (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,53473.0.html) build.

Gimme a sec so I can test it myself.

Edit: Confirmed. A CTD when the second wing arrives and at least one ship from the first wing is still alive. Though this might also belong to the release thread of the build.

That red-to-blue thing is also a documented bug. I guarantee you these are caused by FS Open, and not by the Port.

I think he refers to the rather interesting weapon loadouts...

But usual reasons for weapon loadout corruption are pilot file issues. Play (until new pilot file is ready) only one mod/campaign per pilot

In the first shot, I'm referring to the fact that all of Sigma wing is inexplicably disabled.

The second and third shots refer to the weird loadout. It only happened in that mission, probably cause it was a scramble mission.

It actually looks kinda funky. I would like it if you could turn it on and off.

And yeah, I know it's a bug.
