I haven't flown SCP in quite a while so today I went to load it up and I have stripes through all the ship textures!
There is no detail except black and white stripes, any ideas?

Take a screenshot, tell us what video card you have, whether you're running DirectX or OpenGL, and what build you're running.

I've tried my old version - 3.6.9 and 3.6.10 and no luck. I've also tried the newest launcher 5.5d versus 5.4 which is what I have been using to no avail.
I didn't install anything but the newest version of the executable and newest launcher, didn't change any vps etc. Well, I also install the track IR dll for use with the version that supports it and also installed some cockpit test thing and the cockpit using version.
If I revert back to old version 3.6.9 I still have problems.
I'm stuck here.

As Galemp said... What is your graphics card? Driver version and type in case you are not running official ones?
Most likely this just another case of this:

The important part:
IT IS A DRIVER BUG!!! NVIDIA CONFIRMS IT IS A DRIVER BUG!! THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO TO FIX IT!!
All you can do is upgrade your drivers.
(...hopes the message finally gets through that it's not a FSO bug and there is nothing we can do about it...)

I have an Nvidia 7900 GTX using the latest version of the Forceware drivers, version 169.21.
So you're saying this is nvidias fault?
I'm using OpenGL
Oh, and they are the Omega drivers, not the default Nvidia ones.
-
Yes.. it is Nvidia's fault.

Certain people have had good results with this build (http://fs2source.warpcore.org/exes/latest/taylor/20071028-win32.rar).
