I need some worthy and experienced advice in the field of MS Access 97..2000 etc
To vote in the poll please be aware you must be familiar with MS Access97 and a higher version...so you can say which version is better with server side scripting
Those people who are familiar with Cold Fusion or Access, would it be better to integrate scripting which allows you to search for all keywords in the site related to the subject??? See I want to use Access to store all my variables for my fs2 site, though it would be accessed by flash and then displayed for each ship in each species (this is only one example)... What this scripting allows is to be used for multiple large scale comparisons, keywords for site search engine, graphs, tables, and all those tad little thingys..
:D ::Thanks in Advance:: :D

For all those peepz out there who aren't familiar with this tech...you can post whether it would be cool to have a board where you can compare ships, weapons, etc and tailor that information to what your looking for...?? :D

It all depends on how you're connecting to the database. Since, most of the time, you're going to hit that DB via an ODBC connection, the underlying format is not really relevant--especially in the case of a Jet database (MS Access). The interface is what's important.

Aw, come on... don't do that. Use a real database, Access just sucks, no matter the version. You could do a LOT better with the last version of MySQL, for example. Or PostgreSQL. Or anything else but Access or SQLServer. ;)

I made a whole database in acces a few times, i think it's prety good but i can't compare it to any other prog because i never used other then acces 2000.
