Well, I just downloaded ShadowGorrath's upgraded SAH and I'm having the infamous tbl problem...
I've tried the methods I've found in various threads; however, the icons.tbl error is still occurring, and preventing me from getting past the SCP splash screen.
I'm sure the answer is somewhere in these forums, but I've not been able to find it. I tried a tbl download from Shadow0000 in another thread, but I kept getting errors after the splash screen.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Mobius had the same problem. Ask him for help. I can't help much due to me not having ANY errors in SAH.

Place the Inferno upgrade by Shadow elsewhere(INF_1Patch.vp). I currently have it in my desktop.
-
In other words, remove the INFR1 patch ? That means that EA ships no longer have glowmaps...
I guess I'll have to include them in my mod's patch...
-
Do it if there's someone else experiencing the problem, you can't do that for 2 people ;)
-
2 can grown into 20 or more. But I will include the glowmaps anyway. What harm can it be from them? I mean, the glowmaps are taking up a rather small amount of disc space ( for example- ALL of InfernoR1 Ancient effects, maps, models and glowmaps take only about 20mb of space... ).

You can wait for the restored S:AH campaign, it's only a matter of testing :)
EDIT: Create a VP with the maps, we'll add them to the FSCRP campaign VP :)
-
You mean the one that I don't see any changes in ?
And yes, I'm waiting for that before I even start making the patch. Even though, as I said, I don't see any changes :doubt:

There are changes and the last mission needs something...

Place the Inferno upgrade by Shadow elsewhere(INF_1Patch.vp). I currently have it in my desktop.
Worked like a charm. I moved INF1_Patch.vp to a separate mod folder and then pointed InfernoR1 to that folder, but not SAH. Everything works now.
Thanks!

Hey, do you know why we got that error? It would be helpful. I frankly don't know what caused it, maybe you can get to the bottom of this issue :)

In the INFR1 folder I have the full INFR1 and it's SCP patch. My SAH folder is with my upgraded SAH, with a mod.ini telling of a secondary list as MEDIAVPS,INFR1 ( the one that I included ). I select SAH as a mod, and it get's loaded first, then it loads what it needs from INFR1 folder and from the mediavps. And so it works fine to me.
2 ideas why it might not work to you with the patch:
1. Adv effects might make it not work, but that is so unlikely that I don't believe this one.
2. You load INFR1 as a mod, with my SAH as secondary. It should be the other way around.
