I think this is the right place to post this. If not, can someone move this to the right thread for me please?
Again hello everybody, I'm new here at this forums. Recently I made a post about increasing the fighter wings amount located here http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,53784.0.html (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,53784.0.html).
Well I did found some builds that allow me to go beyond the maximum 25 wing limit. However I came across a weird bug I believe that is happening to all the builds I have tried out thus far. When I was testing how many wings I could have in Fred, (I was spawning many one fighter only wings) and trying it out in game, the one fighter wings would not respond to any of the all ships commands. The one fighter only wings would respond to the wing and signal ship commands but not to the all ships commands. Is this intentional, a known bug, or am I the only one who notices this issue?

Just to clarify on this, the Is-Player-Build is kara's 12/08 build. I assume that this is a bug, Mantis it (http://scp.indiegames.us/mantis/).
And Xt 0314 is the right name.

Yes, the Is-Player-Build belongs to Kara which is located here http://www.freespacefaq.com/Misc-Downloads/Builds/ (http://www.freespacefaq.com/Misc-Downloads/Builds/). Also, I will try to Mantis it (even though i don't know how to) as soon as possible. Im just waiting for the confirmation email to come in to activiate my account.

It's really easy. List the build(s) used, and describe what happened. Done.
And I'd stick with kara build if I were you, it's the best I've used.

Actually, try this one (http://www.freespacefaq.com/Misc-Downloads/Builds/PrimariesFixedTest.7z). It's more recent and should solve a few strange crashes and the whole "Can't change primaries in multiplayer" bug.

Im not getting the confirmation email at all from the mantis website (tried several times). Can someone please post this issue on there for me?

None of the ships responded. I tested this even if their only like 3-4 wings in game with only one fighter per wing. None of them responded to the all fighter commands. They dont even respond when for example there was like 4 fighters in a wing, three of those fighters in that wing got destoryed/departed and the last one that is still in game doesn't respond to the all fighter commands still.

Fixed.
Shadow Gunman wins the sharp eyes award for spotting the bug. The couldn't spot an elephant at 20 paces award goes to the ENTIRE FS COMMUNITY for failing to spot that this HAS BEEN BROKEN SINCE RETAIL! :p
I'll have a build up to test with shortly.

You mean the 'all-fighters' command, as in, say, C-3-9, was broken in retail? Or just since retail?

It was broken whenever there was only one fighter left in the wing. From what I can see that was broken in retail too. It certainly was in my test mission.
The really funny thing was when testing it I made a mission where Beta wing had 1 player and Gamma wing had 2. I gave everybody the command to warp out and only Gamma jumped. So I gave Beta Wing the order to depart (which uses a different path through the code from telling everyone to depart) and got the message "You don't have to tell me twice!"
Oh but I do. :lol:

You know the silly thing is I've probably seen this happen countless times and simply never said anything. I can think of four or five off the top of my head. :P

The way it looks it is fixed. Im going to test it out some more to check if everything is running smoothly. Thank you Karajorma!

Wow...in retrospect, I know I've seen some weirdness that was attributable to this. Good on ya, Shadow Gunman, for proving the rest of us oblivious idiots. :lol:
