Stumbled Upon this (http://freebie.ovh.org/?p=158), IDK if any of you guys could use it or w/e. Hope so.. :)

Yay, and you can create GIRLS! I can imagine you all using this to make your own p0rn.
-
... I was kind of hoping more along the lines of Lt. Ash... where's Icey? I wanna see his take on using this, if it's helpful for him.

Cutscenes.

it seems, that software wants to be a counterpart to POSER.....ok...it´s free, but any model is not free and you wil habe to buy it....
furthermore i do not know if the modeling capabilities are satisfying....
i suggest to stick to BLENDER as free 3d-modeling, rendering and animation platform...

I don't even think it models, I think it just creates scenes and whatnot.

Cutscenes!

Your name reminds me of the word Eejit (and please don't go and look it up in Urban dictionary and be offended, no harm meant :nervous:)
Anyway, DAZ also had Bryce 5.5 for free, which is their 3D modeller - this, Studio thing that they have created, it appears to be used for the new and everlasting... what the...
Anyway, if it can do anims, use it for cutscenes, as jdjtcagle suggested.

It looks to me as described by Icey and UT. Some kind of strange character poser and render app.
I can't see it being much use to a freespace cutscene animator unless your cutscene prominently features scantily clad female space elves or something.
-
... how about a space traffic controller? Hmm? xD And the distraught pilot she's trying to calm down?
-
Application jumping is bad. :p
You wouldn't render 90% of a cutscene in one app and then switch to another for a few scenes that display a slightly better looking character. Can you imagine the work involved in re-creating the scene in that other app? ;)
-
Hmm... yeah, they prolly don't have a common format to import / export to, eh? But how about scenes that are only internal? I mean, the space traffic controller is inside. True, you couldn't use it for the Apollo, but... well, yeah, the work involved would not be worth it prolly. :(

You would just use your native app to do both parts. Otherwise it's something like changing to a totally and utterly different word processor because you like a single font it has that the other one doesn't. ;)
