It's too bad Trivial Psychic hasn't been around recently; he usually notices the website updates before anyone else. ;)
Anyway, until last week, clicking on the Silent Threat: Reborn link on the main page brought you to the FS Wiki campaign page. Now, it'll take you to a new sub-website especially for ST:R. Check it out and see what you think.
-
Well, my only gripe is that the banner doesn't really match the background.
Everything else is great though. :)
-
Apart from Cobra's gripe, I think it's really nice.
-
The banner and background are both textures from the same ship. :D
-
The Hades tiling on the sidebar with the links makes the text hard to read...(then again, that was a problem with the Orion tiling of the normal FSPort site). That's the only thing thats glaring. Otherwise, its nice.
-
Tiling's way too ugly! UV map it! :p
Yeah, the sidebar text is a bit difficult to read, but good stuff otherwise. I can't wait to finally see this puppy in action.

Vasudan Admiral - CLASSIFIED
What's that supposed to mean? :p
-
Y'all forgot me on that credits list. :nervous:
-
Nope, nothing here yet.
Not even a tiny little teaser pic?
-
Please, change the color of the text on the side bar to make it easier to read against that background.

I can't tell you; it's classified.

:wtf:

What, the Mystery Pics aren't good enough for you? :p
(That's a good point actually. We should probably put the Mystery Stuff up.)
Please, change the color of the text on the side bar to make it easier to read against that background.
I tried messing with it but got nowhere. If you have any recommendations I'd love to hear them.

If it's straight HTML, I could always take a crack at it myself. Somewhere around here I used to have a copy of Dreamweaver, which I rather liked for the way I could do a splitscreen of the actual code vs what would appear on screen, and see the changes I made to the HTML take effect. I used to be pretty handy with HTML and stylesheets.
-
It's straight HTML. Do the "view source" thing and see what you make of it.
-
Looks like all you really need to do is add a <font color=""> tag at the <body> tag, and a corresponding </font> tag just before the </body> tag. Just need to work through your colors until you find one that contrasts well, but doesn't look ugly. But make sure the tag is on the file for the navigation frame, of course.
-
 I know how to change font colors; I coded the website myself. By recommendations I mean recommendations for colors. I ran through a number of colors but none that I tried was appreciably better than white.
-
Perhaps it's the background image that needs adjusting in that case? If it was made darker, that would probably take care of the issue. As for font colors, I'll see what I can come up with later.
-
Maybe tone the background image down a bit towards grayscale / fade the colours. Have you considered a flash navigation bar?
-
Have you considered a flash navigation bar?
Yep, and rejected it.
-
Gif image navigation?
Upping the font size to make it a bit more differentiable from the background?
Oops nearly forgot, aside from the nav, the sites cool  as is the main. Can't wait to play. Cheers again for that start of year offer Goob :) i can now wait happily:yes:
