Title: I assume this is where you find FREDers
Post by: Blue Lion on May 26, 2008, 07:55:16 pm
I don't even know if there are any still available. My campaign went on hold for a few years and now this summer I actually have time to work on it. However I won't be doing all the work myself this time around if I don't have to.

If there are any FREDers who are bored and want to work on a smallish very easy campaign, let me know here or in message.

If you can't recruit people in this forum, my apologies mods. Do what you will with this thread. Thank you.

It's cool.

I'd suggest you post a small description of your project, though. Not many people will blindly join something that they don't know what is.

I was more curious if this was the right place. And it's been on skippys list for a while now. And I now notice it's no longer in my sig.... which is odd....

It's a good a place as any.  There's no formal "FREDder Recruitment" board, mainly because there are scarcely any FREDders to recruit.

I'll do one mission if you like, perhaps two. I'm running out of will to work on my own stuff currently, and SA's is actively defying me in playtesting.

Scroll of Atankharzim? What do you mean?

My own idiocy mainly. I forgot to do what I normally do about playtesting while it's still under construction, so instead of catching errors as I went along...yeah. It turns out they compound. :P

I'll whip up some notes and such and send it off to you sometime this weekend probably.

No rush for you, it's been in progress for years.

If we weren't all stubbornly fooling around with personal campaigns that will never be finished, there would be more FREDers available to finish up the overly-ambitious community projects.

Some people like to do their own ideas rather than someone else's. That's natural.

Do you mean...most people? Yea, your own ideas always seems better, unless the other guy's is really really good.
