Really, never knew what to do when MANTISing a bug !
It has been mentioned before, but there is still a bug that had great influence on the visual appearance of THE BABYLON PROJECT :
When using texture replacement, GLOWMAPS are nor used.
Especially with TBP , EVERY Omega Destroyer uses texture replacement, and entire campaigns built around one of these ships suffer noticably from this bug.
Glowmaps work, but apparently the engine does nor use glowmaps for tecture replacements, have not found a way to bypass this.
I hope I am not bugging you, but can this bug be expected to be exterminated in the rear future ? I thought it can't be difficult to tell the engine to do something it is already capable of doing....

Damn ! WHERE ??????
There is no "please state your bug here" field ! Do I have to register first ? Wait for 326 verification emails ????
DAMN IT !
Can please someone , ANYONE , mantis this bug for me, so I don't have to attend to weekend-courses how to mantis a bug ? Thank you.

Have you tried it in 3.6.10 builds too?
-
yes. No effect. The major visual drawback remains....
I have tested the glowmaps by renaming them to replace the original OMEGA-DESTROYER textures.
The glowmaps on the nameplates look great ! Just testing....
Ah... it's a pity ! So many glowmaps rotting unused ! :(
