After almost 9 months I'm back on fast cable connection.
No more dial up blues.
and hopefully a better kill avarage than the one I managed to screw up in the past few months of lag plagued flying.
This also meens faster uploads and hopefully a better organized server for me.
 :rolleyes
email addresses have not changed and neither has ICQ.
I'm a happy Vegimite now!  :

Feels real good after a long period of 56k, doesn't it?;) I was stuck on a 56k (that was slow compared to other 56k's) for two years, so cable was really a refreshing change.;)
-
Hehe, I used to use 56k, painful :D The only cool thing was that we had two phone lines.

Lucky sons of ******* :)
I'm just outside dsl range, and the cable company isn't bothering to bring cable modem crap for at least another year to my area....:(

I've just discovered my area has cable installed (finally!). Now all I need is money for it....
-
Yeah, cable is somewhat costly, though AOL costs almost as much as it (if you use it) considering I get cable for like 30 dollars and AOL is like 23.
What area do you live in anyway, Thunder?
-
Worthing, Sussex, England :)

You could always get a job with a webhosting company or an ISP. Free bandwidth is always good. ;)

You know, that's a really good idea. :)

Well, I think Shrike will agree with me when I say that I'm the unluckiest person ever when it comes to broadband connections. It looks like my apartment is the only place in the whole damn city where you can't get cable or adsl access - every single friend of mine has one of those, even people inside the same building! But when I call the damn cable or phone company, they say my area is not enabled yet...
Must... kill... aaaaaaarrrrrghhh!!!

Better then AOL.
The only good thing about AOL is that a good percentage of teenage chicks go there.
