Basically, whenever a ship warps in or out, when I have 3d warp checked in options, this will happen:

A large white line will flash from the point of warp occasionally if my HUD is centered on it.
I am using the latest 3.6.9 media VPs, and I also have the latest drivers for my 2600xt, as well as using openGL mode.
I know that I could just not use 3d warp, it it looks so smexy :nod: Any ideas on how to fix this?
Note: Ive had this same freespace folder with the same options setup for about 6 months, and have changed nothing. I moved the entire folder to a seperate HDD just a few days ago, so idk. It hasnt always been like this.

I am using the latest 3.6.9 media VPs
There are two sets of MediaVPs: 3.6.8 Zeta and 3.6.10 Beta. Pick one. The screenshot would suggest the latter.
Then the build. The '3.6.9' might mean that you're using fs2_open_3_6_9. Try a newer one, such as 3_6_10-Xt_0314 (http://icculus.org/~taylor/fso/willrobinson/Xt0314-win32.rar).

Doh, sorry for my noobness. Its been so long since I changed anything I forgot that the launcher and the VPs were seperate versions. But its all good now, that new launcher got rid of the problem. Now I can warp out in style :p Thanks for the help.

Technically, that would be an executable. The Launcher is the application you use to define the graphical and mod settings and. The build, or the FSO executable, is the actual game engine that makes the game run in the first place.
But this is all pointless nitpicking, concidering that everything is working on your end.
