Title: How to program the throttle slider?

i'm using a logitech wingman force 3d
i am beginning to find that it's pretty hard to control speed with the hat switch

Just bind the z axis to the absolute throttle in the controller config but moving it after clicking bind.

cept' fs won't recognize throttle at all

Does on all 3 of my Logitec joysticks and my old MS sidewinder.   Does windows recognize it when you try to calibrate it?

Try going into options. Go to "Controls", click "Ship" click "Absolute Throttle Axis", click "Bind" and wiggle the throttle.
