Title: Galaxy on fire- FreeSpace on your phone.
Post by: Colonol Dekker on June 09, 2008, 06:26:12 pm
Www.galaxy-on-fire.com
It's not quite FreeSpace but for a mobile phone game it's graphics and gameplay blew me away.
If that link doesn't work. Gimme a pm and i'll try and help. :) it's got 3d graphics,  battlecruisers, open missions and a cool training mission. I've not explored the full extent of space yet but it's quite immersive so far :)
Ps- the asteroids are pretty impressive too :)

Only if you've an old phone. I'm playing it now and i just noticed it has basic lighting also.  It's good for the commute, beats quadra-sodding-pop at the very least

It's not quite FreeSpace

Take a look at the battleship concept on their media page and then tell me that again. :p Looks suspiciously like a Hecate. :)

<q>"not quite FreeSpace"</q>  :) i've got a psp and as far as i know there're no elite games on it.   I just appreciate
the engine quality. For a mobile phone game. It's very diverse. And i know for a fact if people round my manor see 3d graphics on a phone they instantly :jaw:
