Could anyone tell me if it would even be possible to recode a smaller version of freespace to run on the Samsung YP-P2 mp3 player. if it ware even possible it would probably require hacking and much work but can it be done?
-
You mean like...play the game on an Mp3 player?
:wtf:
-
yeah but kinda like with the mouse because the P2 is touch screen so with simpler controls - tap hud middle to fire, tap fighter to target etc...
-
No. The engine requires a video card, a fair bit of processing power, memory, and is meant for the X86 (basically PC) processor architecture. You'd be better off making a whole new engine.

Though if you really want to, go bug cross-platform development...lol.

Don't actually, that was a joke. (if it wasn't, you're both dumb) :p

:doubt: Yeah, I'd like to play FreeSpace on my coffee maker.
(Psst. The sentence above is pure sarcasm.)

Hang the **** on - I didn't post this
Must have been my brother being an idiot again. gotta stop leaving this logged on
sorry guys :doubt:
-
:wtf:
how old is he??
-
11 - thinks he's older
- thinks he's a gamer because he plays runescape and sucks at freespace
-
Oh my younger brother uses my account all the time, but nobody notices because he's probably only a degree less idiotic than me.
-
yeah - this kid is pretty smart until he gets online at which point he thinks EVERYONE is a stupid little mmophuger
-
I tend to loathe anyone who plays MMO's (including WoW... But not EVE since the people I do know who play EVE online are decent enough)
-
one word - RUNESCAPE
-
RUNESCAPE
SUCKS.
Anyway, how come I find it immature that you let your little brother on your account by accident?
-
See? This is why I always log out after posting. Even though I live all by myself.

i accidentaly let firefox remember the password *facepalm*

Why not set the login session time so it will automatically log you out?

Put a password on your XP account.
-
and log out whenever you don't use it.
-
we share an account

Or be a man and have a passworded screensaver go off after one minute.
we share an account
Individual accounts advised.
-
Why share one?
Then again, my friend's mom wont create more than one account for their family of four for fear of breaking their PC.

That's pathetic.
we share an account
......:wtf:
Why!?
-
it's a parent thing
-
I think your parents are idiots. :P
Do what Lobo said. Make a screensaver that prompts for a password when you exit it. That way you can own your brother and your parents might not notice for a little while.

Tell me about it. I've tried to sway her (she reveres my ability to fix her computer, which generally just has a setting wrong) but she won't listen. She thinks that it will give her viruses.

He has Titan Syndrome.

Me or tinfoil?
Is it so wrong that I think sharing an account is a stupid idea?
-
Me or tinfoil?
Not you. Baka...

dude there is absolutely no reason to go off on my parents. my forum rule # whatever i feel like making it is that no one insults a family member of mine when they don't know them. so drop it. seriously.
and no the smiley does not make it okay
-
He's just stating that they are doing something idiotic. (which they are). They are probably like my aforementioned friend's parents, in that they don't understand how to use a PC.
-
agreed but that wasn't clear. he could very well have been insulting my parents. who he doesn't know.
i don't know about you but that pisses me off. (if that is in fact what he was doing. if not he should find a better way to express that.)
-
I try not to distance myself from whoever insults me/someone close to me. It's not that I don't care, or that I don't have any personal pride/whatever, it's that the people saying it don't matter.
And my friends call me emotionless... :blah:
-
I don't believe in saying sorry as an apology, so I'll just say that I'm not like the majority of people when it comes to my family :ick:
Also. This is the internet. Get used to insults.
-
i would prefer not to argue but all i'm saying is that the insulting of family members over an anonimizing medium like the internet is unacceptable to me. if you insult me i could care less but my family is different.
-
Like I said. It doesn't matter. In the long run, no one will know, it won't affect anyone. (only if you let it)
-
exactly. i would just prefer it not happen at all though
-
That's life. I don't know about you, but in my life 80% of the things I prefer never happen.
