im at level 24'ish i guess, pretty fun, lots to do.
love the driving :)
-
There have been many! :D
They all end in it's the best game ever.
-
Got it yesterday, so haven't played much... although I must say that the gameplay isn't living up to my expectations... which sucks :\
-
I'm too lazy to go out and buy games on CD/DVDs :ick:
-
Then order it online and let your local postal worker do the legwork for you. :p
-
It's out on PC? I thought it was 360-only.
-
I had been planning on buying the PC version of Mass Effect, right up until word broke about its copy protection scheme. I'll fish the game out of a bargain bin, when/if EA comes to its senses.
-
poor a.i
cutscene heavy
anoying dialog that have mostly little effect no matter what answer you choose
crap side quests

They already did. Mass Effect has a conventional SecuROM protection. No calling home every now and then like they originally planned.
-
That is the only thing they removed. It still has the three install limit along with the usual blacklisting of programs and other standard fare that comes with Securom.
It doesn't matter to me anyway. I will be applying a crack immediately when I get it, as I do with all Securom games.

BEST GAME EVER!!!
-
see... told you!
-
I find myself nearly unable to complete the game without the assault rifle talent. :P
I mean...Spectre X rifle, explosive rounds, heatsinks...pwnage.

Yeah exactly my point
-
Space Bar to skip dialogue has been my best friend.
I'm suprised to see the AR getting points. I thought it was near useless. Early on it's piss poor accuracy means it mostly misses, and by the time a better one comes around, a properly leveled up character has higher max damage with a pistol.
-
Perhaps, but rate of fire is the obvious advantage, and a properly tuned up AR with Overkill will far outdo a pistol with Marksman. I also tend to find aim turns very secondary given the AI's propensity to rush you.
I do have a few games running currently without the AR as a primary or indeed any weapon, but I find that the AI is much better with the shotgun then I (Tali with maxed-out shotgun skill leaves me in awe), and Pistol can be frustratingly unable to compress enough damage into the time before I have to duck back into cover.
-
I went for infiltrator, with a sniper rifle... I was thinking I would get to sneak around and you know... infiltrate... but I stand corrected, I have to be a Leroy just like with any other class :P
-
cutscene heavy
I just finshed MGS4...which is also lacking a thread here....and Mass Effect has NOTHING on it in terms of cutscenes. I love mgs, but man, those scenes are fraking epic...heck the whole game is fracking epic! if you love MGS, leave the interwebs and go buy it now! and if you want to show off your ps3....this is the game to do it.
oh, and Mass Effects is awesome, it takes some devotion to go through it all. Great story, can't wait for ME2
-
all i can say about mass effect now that iv finished it is: HOLY **** ...... that ending was ****ing intense :D final fleet battle was jawdropping :D
-
Played it a while back on my 360. I hate the sidequests... boring :( but main story excellent.
-
Yeah the main story, although a bit predictable, is very good and very well told. Also the Mass Effect universe isvery cool and somewhat original (in the sense that you almost don't see "clean" sci-fi nowadays).
But the gameplay feels like a "stupidified" version of KOTOR...
