When playing the last mission of FS2, if you click the ready room afterward, you can replay it.
No, that's not the bug, but it's weird and different from FS1.
The bug: your kills accumulate. I got the triple ace once that way. There was no debriefing about it, but it was there in my medals screen.
Is it fixed, or has nobody noticed this? Or am I imagining things?
-
Never noticed on my part. Playing it through again.
Could you post which spegific build's you encountered this on?
-
Vanilla, or possibly whatever came with Turey's installer a while ago.
I've not gotten that far in the main fs2 campaign with any of the XT builds or anything else 3.6.10, so I can't tell you there.
I know I hadn't gotten the triple ace. That's what I'm basing this on.

Makes sense. I wouldn't call this a bug, though. It's a side-effect of the game allowing you to play through the last mission more than once.
-
There was a similar bug in multi where replaying a mission would somehow let people run up their stats. I don't know the details of how they were doing it though.
-
I like this feature! It lets you experience multiple endings without needing to go through the techroom.
-
I'm not complaining about being able to see multiple endings, I just think it shouldn't let you rack up the kills in the process. It should count as a replay, not another mission.
-
Yeah I kind of agree, it should basically count as if you had chosen to replay any other mission, with a warning saying that if you replay your stats from the previous playwill be lost/forfeit/whatever.
