Hello Members of this Forum !
I want to show you a new Project !
I´m working on a Port of Freespace to Star Trek Legacy.
I decided to do this because i want to play the big ships of FP / FP2 and not only the small fighters / bombers.
Of course i have many to do to make the ships playable. If anybody wants to help, i take everthing ;-)

He is, but he's put different turrets on it.

I suppose nobody remembered that Star Trek doesn't use weapons that require being fired from an external barrel...

That's the HTL Moloch, but not the Deimos.

It is HTL except the Barrel turrets have been moded.

The non-HTL ship doesn't have the greenish hue.
Also the non-HTL ship doesn't have the slight indentations on the sides where the turrets are attached.
Sheesh.

It is the HTL Deimos from the SCP project. I have to change the upper turrets because Legacy doesn´t support
moveable turrets. The rest is originally.
The Second the ship is the Moloch im working on...

Excuse me for asking, but why exactly are you porting FS to Star Trek Legacy? That game engine doesn't look like it has anything to offer you that FSO couldn't.

I dunno sizzler... if those screenshots are all native with no post-processing/shopping/gimping applied afterwards, it looks kinda interesting. Aside from different cap ship control and combat, the graphics seem pretty cool to me... if a bit over-exaggerated, but cool nevertheless.
Although, as far as gfx is concerned, FS2_Open will probably do that and moar when the material/shader/post-processing system is fully implemented and the MediaVP's start really catching up not only on normal maps but effects and other stuff as well.

Anyone else getting a bandwidth exceeded notice instead of getting to see all five pictures?

It looks almost like there are self-shadows on that Moloch. Or am I seeing things?
