Terribly sorry if a topic has already been posted on this, I did a search and was unable to find the appropriate thread.
I was running FS2 Open 3.6.9. (Tureys download link from this page), played through the entire Campaign and even some of the additional campaigns featured on the download. However, after playing Homesick none of the Open features are working (the SCP Proj screenie that used to pop up before the opening cutscene doesn't show, and of course none of the awesome new features), even when I try and go through the Launcher, it just appears to be launched as the retail copy. I'm afraid I'm going to have to redownload unless someone can give me the heads up on what's going on here. Thank you kindly.

I'm guessing that the Homesick download didn't include a mod.ini file with it. These files allow campaign makers to specify multiple mod dependencies when they're run, as well as enabling nifty features like a splash graphic and campaign description in the Launcher. All you should have to do is create a plain text file called mod.ini with the following content:
[multimod]
SecondaryList = mediavps;
Just stick that into your Homesick mod folder, re-select it in the Launcher, and you should be all set.
(Alternatively, you could manually enter -mod homesick,mediavps into the Custom Flags section of the Launcher in place of using the Select Mod tab, but mod.ini files have become rather standard and are easier to deal with, so that's the method I advise.)

Much obliged Mongoose, I would never have thought to look into the mod.ini file to discover how it was changed... It's all good now.
Cheers.

You can also select mods with command lines: just add the following to the Custom flags field in order to select the MediaVPs as a mod:
-mod mediavps
Of course, you can select several mod folders this way. Just separate the folder names with commas.

Additionally, use the attached file to make your own mod.inis.
