Is it possible to have the starfield skybox on by default on missions that don't have it turned on?
There are older campaigns that don't have the skybox on, and it's a bit annoying to have to add it to all of the missions. Plus, this would be useful if you accidentaly forget to add a skybox to a new mission you make.

As easy as it would be to add a command line flag that does this, I am hesitant do so so, because it would encourage people to not add starfield.pof to their missions.
-
Well, I don't know. I personaly think it is useful. And if people actually want/try to make a good campaign, I'm sure they would still add it.
-
rather than automatically add starfield.pof to every mission, it is probably a good idea to look through old campaigns and make them compliant with the entire Media VP set, such as adding modular tables.
-
Adding the starfield on all missions is an idea to have it quick and easy, instead of editing it for months to work with the entire mediavps.

It shouldn't take more than 30 minutes to fix all the missions from the main campaign if you use notepad.

I really think it ought to be up to the mission designer whether the starfield pof should be used.
