hi there
i commonly saw replys that many of you simply hate microsoft sam etc
but i alsways liked it way more than the voiceless campaignes
anyways.. i  found something quit good (it costs money but still)
its called at&t natural voices
if im going to try them how can i import them into in the launcher so that i can select them?
or is this not possible with those tekst to speech voices

ps i didnt acxacly knew where to place this topic

I don't think you can, and I wouldn't want to spend money just to have a different Microsoft voice that I never use.

You can use them. I have in the past and I keep being tempted to install them again now.

The problem I had with them was that they were a serious performance drain. But my PC is faster now so I'm tempted again.

I find no voices to be far preferable to Microsoft Sam. That particular voice is so unbelievably bad that it just ruins all the immersion. :p There are much better speech engines out there though.

Well, I haven't actually used any myself. That AT&T package has been mentioned here before though and is supposed to be a lot better.

I think vista's female voice isn't that bad on the ears.
