Title: New here, Had a question about the source code project..
Post by: GruntOfAction on July 01, 2008, 09:32:17 am
Alright since I still have my original Descent 1, 2, 3, Descent Freespace 1, and 2 of my 3 Descent Freespace 2 discs (missing disc one of all of them.  :ick:) are there any things I actually need to install the new source code thing? I mean I can run Freespace on my XP right now because I put it into compatibility mode but still...I kinda miss Freespace 2's cruisers with giant lazors thing..

Turey's Installer (at the very top of this page) and OpenAL. Have fun!

If you have the disks and can get them to work install first then run Turey's installer and point it at the same folder. It will save you hours of downloading stuff you already have.
