Title: Any mods for the original Descent Freespace?
Post by: GruntOfAction on July 01, 2008, 10:24:28 am
Since I am using  Descent Freespace's original Windows 95 discs on Backwards compatibility I was wondering if there were any mods for it? Or do I need that FSC thing?

Just click on 'FSO Installer' up in the top bar -- you can get FS2 and all its enhancements for free, including the Freespace 1 port.

Sweet, btw how much memory do all the downloads take up? I only have like 27 Gigs on my hardrive for space...

It's not memory. It's disk space. And at the moment, I think selecting everything with the Installer will end up consuming roughly 4 gigs.
