Hi, I've been having a problem with getting a Elysium to undock with a Hecate in FRED 2.
I've set up the commands to via original orders and SEXP to dock with the Hecate's topside dock, wait 10 seconds, undock, wait 30 seconds and then proceed to a waypoint.
My problem is that whenever the transport moves to the waypoint the destroyer instantly snaps back into dock with the transport and is dragged along with the ship. Whilst this looks amusing, it is very frustrating because i cant seem to remedy the problem.
I was wondering if anyone knows a way to stop this from happening?

Did you use the clear goals sexp before ordering the ship to undock? So basically you have initial orders for he ships to dock then one event that clears the goals and undocks then another that clears the goals again (just to be on the safe side) and sets the waypoint

You, my friend, are a genius :D
It was so simply but so annoying when you don't know how to fix it. Thanks alot mate.

That shouldn't be happening. This is a bug that should have been fixed.
Are you using retail FS2, or FSO?

You didn't tell it to dock in the initial orders AND via a SEXP?

No the command to dock was initial order only, and then all following orders were SEXP. Adding in clear-goals seems to have done the trick though.

If FSO, what version?

Its retail FS. I've had the problem for as long as i can remember.

Get FSO. The FREED Open has a lot of fixed bugs and new SEXPs.
