Title: Missing thruster effects

All the thruster effects, be it for capital or fighter ships are missing. Totally gone. The only thruster effects present are on my(the player's) wing. Using the 20081107 build.

System specs to aid in troubleshooting:

Intel Core 2 Duo processor T7500
(2.2 GHz, 800 MHz FSB, 4MB L2 cache)
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400XT Hyper memory
3GB DDR2 RAM

Oh, yea. I get major lag when view asteriods. I have no idea why.

Are you using mediavps?

Yes, I am. Using the mediavps 3.6.10.

I've figured out the thruster effects errors; apparantly, its caused by the build. I'm not sure if its also the cause of asteriod lag, though.

I quickly played The King's Gambit and can confirm that this build liquidates at least certain thrusterglows. Not all though. The Hedetet looked alright.

The Shivans looked fine too. It seems to be an intermittent problem, although it happens all the time when i'm testing my mission.
