I`m pretty sure the only place you`ll find it is in FSPort.

It's inside FSPort, which you can use with retail FS2.

Um. No? As of v3.04, the FSPort can't be used with retail anymore.

Nope, Goob said that retail compatibility was included with 3.04.

Holy crap.  People (not just you, Cobra) need to stop saying that.

The Port is, has always been, and will always be compatible with retail FS2.  Seriously, I've lost count of the number of times I've had to correct you guys.

It has? I thought you removed all of the FS2 ships?

...and that would make it incompatible with FS2 how, exactly?  :wtf: Just like any other retail FS2 mod, one isn't supposed to be playing through the FS2 campaign with the Port installed to begin with.

I have the original FS1 and Silent Thread CD-ROMs, but I don't know if that will help you

Maybe if you *cough*ISOed them and uploaded them somewhere*cough*, but there's hardly any reason, since the Silent Threat on FSPort is virtually the same thing. Except that it works better. Or so I've been told.

The only 3 things missing are the FS1 interface, FS1 hud and original FS1 nebulas. In the current version at least...

Which I'm told should be there in 3.1.

If you are refering to the extra single player missions in FS1 retail that were included in the silent threat CD, they are on freespacemods.net.

The FS1 nebulas?

I mean, really, no matter that we have much better looking nebula backgrounds, I liked the FS1 ones.

Wasn't the big thing about version 2.0 and below that you could play trough the FS2 campaign?

No, the big thing about version 2.0 and below (not to mention above) was that you could play through the FS1 campaign.

More seriously, the reason we removed the FS2-era ships was because we didn't have enough room for them AND the FS1 ships after everything was properly balanced.  The Demon, the Horus, and a few other ships had their stats significantly changed from FS1 to FS2.  We didn't have room for two copies of everything that changed, so we just dropped the FS2 stuff.  We added a bunch of FS1-era mods (like the Karnak) to make up for it.
