Title: Failed to connect

Ive done everything in the tut about how to set up multiplayer but when i try to connect a message pops up and says failed to connect to fs2netd server

3.6.10 doesn't really narrow it down.  Where did you download it from?  What's the date on the exe?

well i downloaded it from game warden and it doesnt say the date on the exe

Grab this one: StandaloneFixes-1.7z (http://www.freespacefaq.com/Misc-Downloads/Builds/StandaloneFixes-1.7z)

If it still doesn't connect rename the multi.cfg and fs2open_pxo.cfg files in your data directory and try it again.  Doesn't matter what you rename them to just something you can remember in case you need to put them back.

Can you guys by any chance host the file in a WinZip or WinRar file? I can't open 7Z files..

Yes you can (http://www.7-zip.org/).

Edit: Any remotely current version of WinRAR can, as well.

yea i didnt use 7zip i used winrar
