In the mean time here is a sample from Computer Arts Special 27 CD...Demonstration of Hypervoxels
Really Cool :)

Is that the twin towers I vaguely see in the distance? Reminds me of that Deep Impact movie..... or maybe I'm just seeing things. It IS awfully late... ;)

Gotta agree there. :) Also reminds me of a particular part of the FL intro... but anyway, it's really cool.

Whats FL??? never heard of it or just can't remember. I will be posting a link here for the earth impact final mov soon...Computer Arts has so gracefully provided files and a excellent tutorial on creating it in Cinema 4D XL 7 and After Effects 5 in this issue..

They also said that normally it would run over many more frames though they wanted to be small and efficient so they kept it to 75 Frames...

Enjoy SOoon!! :):D

:D well here it is...woohoo for winrar; I got excellent compression...anyhow heres the link,
Earth Impact Final (http://home.iprimus.com.au/fedech2/impact.exe)

Technically its a start, though if your an intermediate user for Cinema 4D XL 7 and After Effects 5 I think you can rougly complete the explosion yourself but its actually quite good..

Oh I also have tested the d/l by d/l the file and extracting it so there should be no corruption either..

;)::Enjoy::;)

Yeah, FL was going to be cool... until its release date was pushed back till Neverâ„¢. ;)

Which I found odd, because it seemed like they had so much of the project done in one of those old trailers they released... :(

Oh so you're a C4D user too Max... how do you like it? I love that program, it made me love 3D modeling/animation

Woo, that impact lookes awesome! :jaw:

I'm not sure if I could make one... yet ;)

:( I'm sorry Gortef, I'm not eaxctly an animator artist, right now I would say I'm into producing graphics and web development...though I do prefer Cinema 4D XL 7 and Lightwave 3D v7 and After Effects 5, though I have yet to experiment with Cinema, and Effects, I've only tried LW3D7. By the way I didn't make them either, though I could assist you in getting better with Cinema 4D XL 7 and help you learn After Effects if you want.

Well I hope everyone enjoyed those little clips, and also liked to thanks everyone who posted a reply..;)

I really appriciate the offer Max, but you don't have to :)

Our 3D teatcher in school is quite capable when it comes to Cinema 4D and AfterEf.

I wish my school's gfx course was even half-decent... all we do is dodgy architecture all day... :(

Lol, I wouldn't go so far to say that, T. ;) Everything I learned about graphics, I learnt by myself... gfx lessons last year wasn't a time to learn, it was a time to surf the forums. ;)

I would be willing to help anybody else, but only searching for tutorials...

I must admit, some of those PS tutes are pretty impressive... the effects that they can produce in so few steps. Pity I don't have PS, and pity I won't have any time to do any work on SPIRIT for a while. ;)

If you understood the magnitude of what was happening right now, you'd be happy I was even around on the Forums.

:p thats completely beside the point...time can always be made, its there, but really isn't, though in my aspect I had the same problem you did heaps of things here, heaps there...over time you'll learn to balance what you have, that includes school, HLP, rendering, social life and all those little things that popup..

well I spose I'll have to be patient, though I will miss for a while seeing those excellent renders.

With all due respect... it's not wise to compare the current circumstances with what you describe.

This is starting to sound like ST talk...anyhow I suppose asking what the current circumstances are:
1. non of my business
2. disrespectful to ask
3. something to do with HLP
4. this is going nowhere
5. don't go there
