Title: whats the best cd/dvd ripper program?
Post by: Nuke on July 27, 2008, 02:41:57 am
i need to be able to make images of some of my games so i can play them on my #2 rig, which at current lacks a cd or dvd drive. i cant put a full size one in because its missing its drive cage due to a case mod. i use daemon tools lite to mount most images but i need a program to rip the images. needs to support images that daemon tools can use. i mainly want to do lan party with games like prey and perhaps various flight sims, i dont want to use nocd cracks if i dont have to.

I'm pretty sure that Alchohol 120% will do what you want.

Kubuntu has several great programs for ripping, soundKonverter and K3B, I honestly would like to know a good Windows program for this.

I use ImgBurn (http://www.imgburn.com/), but I'm not sure how good it is at ripping... great for burning images / verifying them, though.  That in combination with CDBurnerXP (http://cdburnerxp.se/)... and I just downloaded InfraRecorder, thx Fury.
