Title: FreeSpace Universe Reference Project
Post by: Androgeos Exeunt on July 31, 2008, 08:43:02 am
This (http://www.3dap.com/hlp/hosted/fsurp) looks like a good FreeSpace reference source. I'm amazed that it's still on 3D Action Planet, because all I ever get from them is a page lamenting about llamas...

GTC Aeolus production is halted after only 24 are built, due to the extreme cost and limited effectiveness.

November 9th: NTF Iceni, NTC Alexandria, and NTT Grall escape to the nebula. SOC operatives, posing as NTF saboteurs, deactivate the beam cannons on the Colossus to allow the Iceni's escape.

However, it seems like all of that stuff can be found on the wiki. Still, I like the interface of FSURP. It's very easy to navigate.

So, what's the point of this thread?

I was just pointing out something to read that's related to FreeSpace.

That was the original Wiki, IIRC.

I'm not too sure. There's a little copyright notice at the bottom... :nervous:

The original Wiki was called the FSDoc. I remember the links highlighted themselves when you scrolled over them, and the main font was Arial, size 10.

Eh, is that bit about SOC even canon? Or is it speculation? I don't recall ever seeing that in a briefing.

Everything on FSURP ought to be in the Wiki by now.

It's speculation. They could have very easily been real NTF or real NTF who were allowed to succeed by the SOC too.

I like the interface, though. Good work on that.

The only thing that isn't, AFAIK, is the Ship Mod Master database, but that's out of date anyway.

I've seen a few variations of that database.
